Sea Teach

Sea Teach S.L. is an SME and Spanish Limited Company registered and based in the Port of Cala D’or, Mallorca, Spain and is the co-coordinator of the project.
The company has operated within the marine sector for over 14 years both as a Sea School and as a Motor Boat Charter Business. The Sea School offers a range of both vocational and adult training courses to students who come from many different EU countries and who’s ages range from 16 years upwards.
Sea Teach has previously worked on other projects, focusing on

  • qualification recognition & core curriculum design for professional skipper,
  • improving teaching materials for Collision Regulations,
  • working with NEETs and disadvantaged youth, and
  • evaluating validation tools for informal skills.

Danmar Computers LLC is a private company operating in the field of Information Technology and providing vocational training in this field. Danmar has an extensive experience in developing modern Web and mobile applications that are used for educational purposes. POMORSKI FAKULTET U RIJECI

The Faculty of Maritime Studies at the University of Rijeka (Croatia) is the oldest high education maritime and training institution in the Adriatic area, with experience in maritime research, teaching and training of students and seafarers employed on merchant vessels, fishing vessels and recreational craft (over 1,300 seafarers trained per year). Employees of the Faculty of Maritime studies are members of Ministry of Maritime Affairs, Transportation and Infrastructure committee in Croatia, responsible for drafting regulations on education, training and for granting certificates for professional and non-professional seafarers. The Faculty will be the national expert for the Croatian qualification.

TÜRK LOYDU

Türk Loydu is a “Classification and Conformity Assessment Body”, providing classification, inspection and certification services, which was established by the Chamber of Naval Architects and Marine Engineers in 1962 with the contributions of the Turkish Union for Insurance and Reinsurance Companies and with the participation of organizations such as The Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey, Chamber of Shipping, Istanbul Chamber of Industry, Union of Chambers of Turkish Engineers and Architects, Shipowners’ Association, Shipbuilders’ Association, Union of Boiler and Pressure Vessels Manufacturers.

Türk Loydu has pioneered the developments in the marine and land industry and maintained its development by enlarging its service areas since its foundation in 1962 by the significant organizations of the sector.

Currently, Türk Loydu maintains its services within the frame of its accreditations and authorizations with international recognition and provides ship classification, certification of management systems, product and personnel, conformity assessment and third party controlling services in a wide range of fields in marine and industrial sectors.
